![]() Would Raven be, okay? What about her friends? Wells?Īt that thought Clarke stopped, she thought back to the day she left. She knows there was no way they could have screamed and no way she would have heard it even if they could have but the thought that they died for something as useless as sending her to the ground was causing her to fabricate things in her head.Īs she drifted off to sleep her mind returned to the thought of what would happen to the people on the Ark that she cared about. That night she could not sleep, nightmares of her parents' screams filled her head. The events following her departure are now fresh in her head. She cuddled up in the seat she had come down in and whimpered. When she returned to the pod and tried to transform back, she came to the realization that she was stuck in her new form, the chip had broken, yes, but now instead of keeping the form away from her, it was keeping her stuck in it.Īfter exhausting the last of her energy trying to remove the ship she walked to the pod and climbed in. She could smell things she hadn’t been able to before, see things much clearer, hear the flapping of wings as birds flew away from the branches they perched on as she passed, she could almost feel the vibrations in the ground as other creatures moved. She ran for hours and hours, her senses were highlighted in this form. She ran off into the woods stumbling every other step, not used to running in this new way. On the Ark the idea of ever getting to change into your wolf form had died with the last person from the ground but now Clarke was on the ground and the fall must have broken the chip in her arm and allowed her the transform. When she stood again, she was lower to the ground, she looked down at her feet and saw padded paws. Her bones snapped apart and then wielded themselves back together. She fell to the ground in indescribable pain, she looked at her leg and saw a small bit of bone poking out from underneath her skin. She stepped away from the pod trying to get a better look at the trees surrounding the area she had landed but when she did her leg snapped. The only sound on the Ark after dark was the constant sound of machines running, the ones the purify the oxygen, the ones to heat the air, the ones to keep deadly amounts of radiation from getting to the people on the ship, the Ark was never quite and now that Clarke could hear what it was like to not have to hear those noises she didn’t think there was anything better. When the door settled and she was able to get up, now knowing that she at least had not broken any bones, she listened to the sounds the planet had to offer. ![]() When she opened the door to the pod, she was immediately overtaken by all the different sights and smells, even the air smelled like something. ![]() She could be exposing herself to radiation or maybe the air was laced with something toxic after being uninhabited for so long or maybe, her brain came to the simple realization, she just got hurt in the crash. When Clarke woke up, she could barely breathe, she thought about all the different things that could mean. ![]()
